East Renfrewshire Council

We worked with the SPACE Design & Build team to provide a sustainable furniture option for East Renfrewshire Council’s (ERC) office refurbishment. ERC wanted to maximise the potential of their Barrhead headquarters to create an agile and modern space for their 400+ staff.

Project highlights

Re-engineering

We refurbished 82 desks by reframing and restoring the tops, saving an estimated 2,870 kgCO2e in carbon footprint.

Recycling

Supplied 240 recycled monitor arms, providing a cost effective and eco friendly alternative to purchasing new.

Reupholstering

Extended the life of 6 existing soft seating pieces using fabric made from recycled materials.

Outcome

The result of this project is the creation of a more flexible office space that encourages collaboration and supports staff wellbeing, benefiting both people and planet.

We helped East Ayrshire Council with their latest hub space, supplying a range of recycled furniture to support the learning and development of young people within the community.

Barratt Homes

We partnered with Barratt Homes to assist in their office relocation, uplifting over 500 items of loose furniture.

Recycle Scotland, a leader in sustainable furniture solutions, collaborated with Macmillan Cancer Support to address redundant office furniture at their Glasgow office on Waterloo Street.
